Foreign exchange products

Spot foreign exchange

Bendigo Bank is able to provide you with foreign exchange quotes in most currencies for value spot (two clear business days). In addition, we can provide quotes for same day value (cut-off times do apply).

Forward foreign exchange

Forward contracts are available to you (subject to credit approval) for periods up to six months in most major currencies. These contracts offer you the ability to lock in a fixed exchange rate with a fixed maturity date and can assist you in managing foreign exchange exposure.

Forward foreign exchange - with optional delivery

If you have some uncertainty with respect to payment/receipt dates, you may find forward contracts with optional delivery suit your needs. They allow you to pre-deliver (partially or in whole) prior to the maturity date of the contract.

Foreign currency at-call deposit/at call loan

Bendigo Bank can offer you "at-call" foreign currency deposit to assist with day-to-day liquidity management. At-call deposits are available in most major currencies.

Bendigo Bank is able to provide "at-call" foreign currency loans in most currencies (subject to credit approval).

Foreign currency term deposit/term loan

You may wish to invest or borrow foreign currency for a fixed term. If so, Bendigo Bank is able to provide fixed term interest rates for your desired term (subject to credit approval).
