The Anglesea & District and Winchelsea & District Community BankŪ branches have contributed more than $100,000 toward redeveloping the Anglesea Fire station.
The town is located in one of the most fire-prone areas in the world. The Anglesea Fire Brigade has been serving the region for more than 70 years is currently trying to raise $1.6 million to build a state of the art fire station.
The new station will be environmentally sustainable and will also provide with space for community education.
